Disaster Recovery

winBoot/i & netBoot/i allows disaster recovery and replication of hard drive images to be performed with the same tools used for all data management, by leveraging the cloning features of the SAN vendors management software.

If a machine fails it can be directed to boot from a snapshot or copied boot volume on the SAN. In some instances it may be preferred to boot from a local hard drive under normal conditions, and only boot from SAN when a failure occurs.
