Boot agents for VM are client-based 'virtual' firmware that allows a VM client created with VMware and Microsoft to do a "network boot” using the virtual NIC.

VM technology allows multiple operating systems to run concurrently on a single machine. Connectix (Microsoft) Virtual PC and VMware Workstation virtual machine solutions provide the virtualization of the x86 architecture and in full hardware resource management.

Our boot agents for VM are fully compliant with the Intel Wired for Management - Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) specification. PXE is the defacto industry standard protocols/APIs for network booting.
